Is it possible to get pictures of a single room? Also, since you said one port per student, I will need a cord?
Ash, I would recommend getting a cord for the internet just in case you cannot tap into the wireless network from your room. In my room, for example, I need to use a cord, but my suitemate is close enough to the hot spot, so she doesn't need to. I will get a few photos of a single room ASAP and publish them on this post, so keep an eye out for those. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Are the closets similar to closets in the Ridges or do they resemble the closets in Mills?
The closets in Governor's and Mills Halls are open (no doors, as in the Ridges), and all have ample shelf space and hanging space. Add the closet storage space with the dresser you'll have in your room (plus other shelf space-see other "411" posts for specifics) and you should have enough space for all of your belongings. How do you know if you have a single or a double ?
Hi Sarah,
A majority of the rooms on campus are double rooms. If you would like a single room, this is something you'll fill out on your housing form probably sometime this summer (UNC Asheville will contact you about this), and the price will be slightly higher. However, most students will not get a single room since those rooms are already occupied (and, as you might imagine, in very high demand!). Many students will live in a double room for their first year at UNC Asheville and then try to switch rooms for their second year. Hope that helps!
